The Lyford House on Richardson Bay in Tiburon, California, was originally located at Strawberry Point in Richardson Bay. The home was built in 1876 for Benjamin and Hilarita Lyford. Benjamin was a doctor originally from New Hampshire and Vermont that served in Civil War with the Union Army. He later moved to San Francisco, California after the war and met/fell in love with his wife.
