This is a follow up story to my first submission of the James and Margaret Bell Home in Scranton PA on 5/14/2018. This would eventually be the home of his son, James F Bell and Elizabeth Cusick Bell. The home was built in 1909 by a successful stone mason, Frank Carlucci. Due to financial circumstances the home was purchased by P.F. Cusick, who was James F. Bell’s brother in law and business partner. James was a successful lawyer and secretary of the Standard Brewing Company and manager of the P.F. Cusick Company. Mr Bell was chief legal adviser to that firm. The home would later be known as “Bell Mansion” before it was destroyed by fire in the later 1940’s. James and Elizabeth raised 5 children in the home. James, Eugene, Elizabeth Margaret and Anna.
