Confederate soldiers took up residence in the Farnsworth house during the Battle of Gettysburg. A Confederate sniper took aim at Union soldiers from the upper attic window. More than 100 bullet holes can be seen in the exterior brick of the home to this day. This is a photo we took when se stayed there in the Fall of 2016.
